New Delhi, Oct. 12 -- Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra is looking for new talent for his upcoming production, Chitthiyan. His team has set out on a nationwide hunt to find a second male lead to star alongside actor Sharman Joshi in the film.
"We haven't announced any contest but Vinod Sir's casting team is looking in colleges and talent workshops across the country to make sure that the best of the lot gets this golden chance," said a source from Chopra's production unit. Once roped in, the actor will be groomed accordingly both in looks and acting through different workshops for his part.
Expected to go on floors next year, the film will be directed by Chopra's sister-in-law Tanuja Chandra, who will be trying her hand at a romantic film for the first time after making women-oriented and intense projects such as Zindaggi Rocks, Sur, Sangharsh and Dushman.
