New Delhi, Jan. 2 -- Actor Shashank Vyas found fame with his character Jagya in the show Balika Vadhu, that ended earlier this year.
The popularity of the show ensured that there was no turning back for him. However, his initial days of struggle gave him one good habit of reading, which he cherishes till date.
"I haven't been a reader for too long. I started reading when I was struggling for work, it helped me a lot in self-development. Reading also broadens our mind and helped me to look at things from a different perspective," says Vyas.
The actor is currently reading Rules of Wealth is all in praise of it. "It is a fantastic book and covers deep thoughts on earning and savings and why you want money. It also talks about how one can have ample amount of money and still have peaceful sleep at night, and teaches about the relationship between happiness and money," he says.
Asked if a book changed his life, he says, "I don't take myself seriously as I am not serious about anything in life. I am sincere, but easy going."
