New Delhi, May 9 -- TV actor Prerna Wanvari, who was seen in shows like Bandini and Parichay, is excited to have bagged a project on the tube with Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Basu.
"I am very thankful for the opportunity, as it gives me a chance to get associated with a name like Anurag Basu in the beginning of my career," says the actor, who will playing a character in Basu's adaptation of Tagore stories for the tube.
Prerna will be seen in the adaptation of the story Khoka Babu Paribartan and would play Choti Malkin. And she says that she enjoyed every moment of the shoot.
"I thoroughly enjoyed playing this role. It was extremely challenging for it is an intense role, and most of my scenes are pretty intense," says Prerna, who got praised by the team for convincingly pulling off a Bengali character.
"I received a lot of compliments on set. People thought I was really a Bengali, whereas I am a half-Sindhi halfGujju girl," she reveals.
Of the many Tagore stories that Basu is working on, Chokher Bali is one of them. Actor Radhika Apte will be seen portraying the role which was played by actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the 2003 film by the same name.
