Mumbai, May 1 -- Actors Mahaakshay Chakraborty (Mimoh), Evelyn Sharma and debutant Mohit Dutta recently visited the sets of Kapil Sharma's popular show - Comedy Nights With Kapil. They had a lot of fun, as they also promoted their upcoming film, Ishqedarriyaan, on the TV show.
While Mahaakshay and Palak (a character on the show) danced to Mithun Chakraborty's (actor and Mahaakshay's father) songs and entertained the audience, Kapil made Evelyn speak in Hindi. Meanwhile, Mohit joked that since both Kapil and Evelyn share a surname (Sharma), they seem to be "long lost brother and sister".
Produced by Chariot Films and Rajesh Banga, and directed by National Award-winning veteran director VK Prakash, Ishqedarriyaan is a simple and fresh love story that explores the various relationships of love. The film is set to release on May 15.
"It is a story, which will touch your heart, and make you fall in love. It has excellent music and a beautiful story. I hope people watch and enjoy Ishqedarriyaan in the same way we have loved working on the film," says Mahaakshay.
Evelyn, who will be seen in a deglamorised look for the first time in this film, adds, "It is a completely different character from what I have played so far. Actually, I have discovered myself in this role. Loveleen (Evelyn's character) is much closer to the real Evelyn, than most of the other roles I have played so far."
Rajesh, ex-VP, Eros International, is happy with the buzz the film, and especially its music, is creating. "I have made an honest and simple film, and I am happy with the fact that its music is getting appreciated," he says.
