New Delhi, March 19 -- Karan Wahi is making his Bollywood debut in a film that has Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead. Now, we hear that the popular TV actor has signed a three-film deal with Siddharth Roy Kapur's production house.
An insider says, "Post his stint as an anchor on a dance reality show, Karan has been riding a popularity wave on TV. After signing Aditya Chopra's Daawat-EIshq (DEI), he bagged this three-film deal within months.
While he plays the second lead in DEI, one of the other three films will have him in the lead. The movie is a comedy called Babloo Ki Jawaani (BKJ). He is also being considered for Remo D'Souza's ABCD (2013) sequel. The third film is still being finalised."
In the past, many TV actors have tried their luck in Bollywood. While Sushant Singh Rajput and Ayushmann Khurrana clicked in lead roles, several others couldn't deliver at the box office.
On being contacted, Karan says, "I cannot really talk about what I have signed or with whom. I will announce it once I get a go-ahead."
