New Delhi, Feb. 28 -- Although his Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai co-star Kushal Tandon participated in the reality TV show, Bigg Boss 7 recently, telly actor Karan Tacker steers clear of them. "I, too, was offered the show, but I don't think I can survive on the show for long. You must have seen the show, the contestants constantly fight over all sorts of issues. I don't have the strength to fight daily. I am not emotionally equipped to do that," says Tacker, who will soon be seen in a new avatar on the tube - that of a host.
"I'll be hosting Halla Bol, a new show on Bindass, where I'll be taking audiences through an emotional journey that will hopefully inspire youngsters to question societal norms and taboos against women."
Talking further about the show, he says, "We need to change the way we look at the issue, women and men both. I took up this show as I feel in some little way, we'll be able to help create awareness on several issues that women face daily. The stories shown will not only portray real life inspired incidents, but every episode will also feature a youth icon."
Given that he's achieved success on television, does he plan to move on to the big screen, like many of his contemporaries? "Of course, why not. I would be happy to work in good roles in movies, I'm open to movie offers," says Tacker.
