Top makers shower Bachchan Sr. with glowing compliments!
| By Taran Adarsh Bollywood Hungama News Network Post PAA, Amitabh Bachchan has lost count of the compliments showered on him. The actor par excellence has an illustrious body of work and therefore, is not new to compliments and adulation. But the overwhelming response for Auro seems to have outdone and engulfed everything he has attempted so far. The veteran actor, known for his modesty, agrees that he has received immense praise for his brilliant portrayal of Auro in PAA. "Prior to PAA, it was BLACK and before that, BAGHBAN," he says, when asked to reminisce about similar feedback. But the two compliments that he would not forget [besides hundreds of others, we're sure] were showered by Ashutosh Gowariker and Abbas-Mustan, once the premiere screening of PAA concluded. Ashutosh Gowariker, an accomplished film-maker, walked up to Bachchan Sr., paused for a while, then remarked, "Aaj pehli baar Vijay Dinanath Chavan gaayab ho gaya meri zindagi se." Another glowing compliment came from Abbas-Mustan, the men in white. Known for wearing white outfits, the talented director duo walked up to Abhishek, spoke highly of the film and added, "Hamara to aisa mann ho raha hain ki kal se rangeen kapde pehan-na shuru karde. Itni achchi lagi picture." We agree! Bookmark/Search this post with: |
