New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- If there's one city that's been hotting up celluloid for years, it's Delhi, with its years, it's Delhi, with its culture curry, buxom beauties, lovely locales and interesting stories.
As part of the Hindustan Times initiative for the centenary celebrations of the Capital, HT is organising the Delhi 100 Film Festival, where iconic contemporary films that were shot in Delhi will be screened from September 10-18 at PVR Rivoli, Connaught Place, between 4.30-8pm. The starstudded cast and crew of these movies will be in conversation with the audience about their tryst with Delhi.
Sonam Kapoor starrer Aisha will kickstart the festival on Saturday, with the film's director Rajshree Ojha in discussion. Director Dibakar Banerjee will chat with the audience before the screening of his film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! on Sunday.
Next weekend begins with the screening of Band Baaja Baaraat on Sep 16, with director Maneesh Sharma in conversation. On 17th, director Rajkumar Gupta and actor Myra will attend the screening of their film, No One Killed Jessica. The festival ends on Sep 18 with the screening of Rang De Basanti, to be attended by director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and actor Soha Ali Khan.
Apart from readers who won the HT contest for tickets to the festival, tickets can also be bought at PVR Rivoli.
