Shah Rukh brings Priyadarshan, Deepika Padukone together

Mumbai, Sep 5 (IANS) Deepika Padukone was supposed to make her debut with a Priyadarshan film but she chose Farah Khan's "Om Shanti Om" instead. Now, three years later, the actress is making a cameo appearance in the director's much-talked about "Billo Barber". Priyadarshan gives credit to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for bringing her to the project. Besides Deeepika, Kareena Kapoor also makes a guest appearance in the movie.

Ticket counters cold for 'A Wednesday', 'Tahaan' and 'Hijack'

New Delhi, Sep 4 (IANS) The three films up for release Friday - "Tahaan", "Hijack" and "A Wednesday" - have so far not got the box office ringing in terms of advance booking. Experts feel, the audience will be guided by the reviews before visiting the multiplexes. “These all are low-budget movies and audiences will wait for the critics review first,” Munish Sharma, marketing head of Satyam cinemas, told IANS.

Mumbai, Sep 4 (IANS) Vikram Bhatt's supernatural period love story "1920" was shot in a castle in England which is one of the 10 most haunted castles in the world, said Anjori Alagh who is playing the second female lead in the film. "1920" which was shot in Allerton castle situated in Yorkshire in northern England, the largest county of Britain, is seventh among the list of top ten haunted castles in the world, said Anjori.

Playing a stock broker in the film, Farooq Sheikh admits that he had loads of fun as he returned to face the camera for a feature film. Though it took him 15 years to return to Bollywood, in future one can expect him to on the big screen a lot more frequently.

Directed by Santosh Sivan, the movie is set in Kashmir and narrates the story of the young boy Tahaan and his quest across the mountains to find his donkey friend Birbal.
