Superman, who turns 75 this year, might be the ultimate macho male but he too needs a birthday present and his creators have given him just that — a new spiffy logo. The Man of Steel is the man of the hour for a whole year of celebratory projects and initiatives. DC Entertainment is
celebrating the anniversary of their oldest and arguably most iconic superhero by beginning a year full of all things for the Man of Steel, starting with a commemorative logo that brings together the familiar red and blue colours as well as the cape waving behind his silhouette.
The mark will adorn many of the various initiatives and projects involving Superman over the next year, starting with DC Comics’ launch of writer Scott Snyder and artist Jim Lee’s new Superman Unchained series on June 12.
