Mumbai, July 9 -- It doesn't take Shah Rukh Khan a lot to be the centre of attraction at any party. But the actor, who co-hosted the recently held International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards function in Macau, went out of his way to make someone else feel special at a bash he hosted. According to our sources, SRK had planned an after-party at the hotel where all the celebs were put up.
The insider informs, "Just when the party was about to begin, SRK got to know that it was filmmaker Gauri Shinde's birthday the next day. So he decided to surprise her. He made sure that Gauri didn't get any hint that he knew it was her birthday, and that he was planning something special for her."
The source adds, "He kept her engaged in conversations until it was time to bring in her birthday. And at the stroke of midnight, he surprised her by singing a song for her." Actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Sridevi, Sushant Singh Rajput and Prabhudheva, among others, were also present at the party.
Interestingly, there has been recent speculation that Gauri's husband, filmmaker R Balki, is set to do a movie with SRK. But the story was denied by Balki.
