Sneak peek at the shoot of Khatta Meetha starring Akshay Kumar and Trisha!
| By Bollywood Hungama News Network Priyadarshan is back again with his favourite hero Akshay Kumar. The duo seems to stick together whether it was Hera Pheri, De Dana Dan or this upcoming comedy caper Khatta Meetha. The buzz doing the rounds is that the film is apparently based on a politically driven plot but knowing Priyan, this too would have its share of laughter. A remake of the 1990 Malayalam social comedy caper Vellanakalude Nadu, Khatta Meetha would have plenty of scope for it's actors to showcase their performance skills. Being an Akshay Kumar movie, this one wouldn't have his lucky charm Katrina Kaif starring opposite him, instead the leading lady is Trisha Krishnan who is a known face down south but would be seen for the first time in a Bollywood venture. Though Trisha is a South Indian, in the film she was expected to play a North Indian girl in the film, and from what is known, Trisha initially could hardly speak Hindi, but she did bowl over the entire crew by speaking the language as if it were her mother tongue. Khatta Meetha is surely a recipe worth trying. A film based on crime and corruption and at the same time one which has Priyan's unbeatable sense of humour, along with Akshay's flawless performance and the fresh and beautiful face of Trisha.
