Shraddha Kapoor might be only one film old, but she seems to have a good line-up for 2013. First, we’ll see her in Vishesh Films’ Aashiqui 2, and now, we hear that she has bagged another big-banner film. If sources are to be believed, Shraddha will be a part of Dharma Productions’ next, to be
directed by Punit Malhotra. The film will see actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor play the lead roles.
A source reveals, “Shraddha has been signed on for the project. She has a fresh face and has a certain youth appeal to her. The film will show a love triangle between Imran, Kareena and Shraddha.” The source further adds that though Shraddha’s role may not be very long, it still is a crucial part of the film. “Shraddha’s character is of significance as the story develops. She’s the third part of the triangle and for however long she’s in the film, she will be one of the key characters,” the source adds.
Meanwhile, Shraddha has been busy shooting for Aashiqui 2 opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is a sequel to the Rahul Roy-Anu Agarwal hit Aashiqui (1990), which was also made by the Bhatts. A source from the sets tells us, “The film is shaping up very well. Aditya and Shraddha’s chemistry in the film is very good.”
