Mumbai, March 28 -- That's how actor Sharmila Tagore describes her experience of sharing screen space with daughter Soha Ali Khan.
"Contrary to what people think, this is the first offer that came our way to play mother-daughter on screen. When I went through the script, I found it appealing and that's why I decided to do it."
Tell her that Soha confessed to being nervous shooting with her, and the dimpled actor says, "Soha didn't look nervous to me. She looked professional and poised. Even if she was, it helped the scene because there was a scene in the film where she had to confess something to her mom," reveals Sharmila.
When asked about her views on the next censor board chief, the 64-year-old actor sternly says, "I have worked as the censor board chief since 2004 and it has been a great experience. Let the ministry decide who will be the right person, but I hope they get a forward-looking and open-minded candidate."
Lastly, when asked about the much anticipated weddings of Soha and son Saif Ali Khan, she says, "My kids are mature and independent. They will marry when they are ready. As far as I am concerned, I would like them to get married, but it has to be their choice. When and how they want to get married is their call. As a mother, I only want them to happy always."
