Choreographer-director Farah Khan is yet to decide on the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan for her film, Happy New Year.
“I’m looking for the right face and will tell you (the media) shortly when we find her,” she said recently. Farah, 48, added that SRK was an automatic choice for the film. “Not because he is my close buddy, but SRK fits into the role,” she said. Farah, who recently choreographed the new theme song Dil Jumping Zapaak for T-20 tournament, says the number is a tribute to singing legend Kishore Kumar. “It has become a chartbuster and is a tribute to the uninhibited singing style of Kishore da. The peppy nature of the track and choreography has the look and feel of Kishore da’s timeless funny songs,” she says.
