Mumbai, Jan. 28 -- The common man's staple transport has now taken over the glitzy world of Bollywood. Wonder how the scooter managed to speed its way into filmy frontiers?
By taking over the posters of movies that hit the screens in the recent past, and are ready to hit theatres soon. The posters of films like Do Dooni Chaar, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Action Replayy and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan have all adorned the two-wheeler.
Speaking about the trend, Rahul Nanda, publicity designer for many Bollywood films, says, "A scooter is a great metaphor for a common man. Most of these films are aspirational stories of people with big dreams."
