The Master Blaster is not the only one on his way to making a film debut. Sachin Tendulkar’s former 360 Modena Ferrari, which was gifted to him by none other than F1 champ Michael Schumacher, has followed in the footsteps of its ex-owner. The Ferrari used in the upcoming movie Ferrari Ki
Sawari, is the one that Sachin sold to Surat-based industrialist and automobile enthusiast Jayesh Desai last year.
“Yes, it’s the same Ferrari that belonged to Sachin once and was gifted to him by Michael Schumacher. I got to drive the same car. It was there during most of the shoot for the film,” says the film’s lead actor Sharman Joshi. Desai lent the car to the film’s maker, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, for three months without any fee. “Vinod knew that I own Sachin’s car now and asked me to lend it for the shooting of the movie from January to March,” says Desai.
Sachin, whose role in the film is a cameo while the Ferrari is part of most scenes, remained unavailable for comment on the matter.
