Mumbai, Oct. 6 -- Finally, speculations can be put to rest about Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum's female leads. For some female leads. Fo time now, names such a Bipasha Basu and model Angela Jonsson were doing the rounds, but makers have finalised ex-Miss have finalised ex-Miss India Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma (of Crook: It's Good To Be Bad fame).
Produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, Kya Super Kool Hai Hum is the sequel to the 2005 hit, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum.
"It's a smart comedy franchise. So, we were looking for smart, sassy girls with a hint of attitude. But instead of casting completely fresh faces, we have gone in for established models, who have some experience in films," says Tanuj Garg, CEO Balaji Motion Pictures.
Sarah made her Bollywood debut opposite Abhishek Bachchan in this year's dud, Game. "But still, we screen-tested them and had them enact a few scenes from the film," says Tanuj. Ask him about the coincidence that both Sarah and Neha made their Bollywood debuts with flops films and he says, "It doesn't matter in today's times. And also, the set-up is fantastic for this film -from the smart script to the talented director. So, we aren't worried."
In the sequel, Sarah has been cast opposite male lead Riteish Deshmukh while Neha will be paired with Tusshar Kapoor.
