Mumbai, Aug. 26 -- Salman Khan has decided that this year, although he wouldn't be home for the first time for Ganeshotsav, his family would ensure that the submersion takes place in a way that's public friendly.
On last check, the Khans at Galaxy Apartments were waiting for permission from the society office to submerge the Ganpati idol within the building's compound. The actor also has a back-up plan. If the society doesn't let his family submerge the idol within its premises, the visarjan will be done just outside the compound.
Right now, it takes hourand-a-half to get in Bandra notwithstanding where you have to go. The regular commuters and on the visarjan day, the trucks add to the load on the narrow roads. Hence the actor's family will conduct the visarjan without adding to the traffic.
