MUMBAI, Oct. 3 -- Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known to be a taskmaster, making his actors work hard in his films. But recently, a heartwarming incident occurred on the sets of his Ram Leela, when Sanjay was considerate enough to postpone his shoot with Richa Chadda as she was suffering from a bout of conjunctivitis.
"We were surprised to see Sanjay so considerate. He let Richa take the day off and has pushed the shoot by a week, until she is perfectly all right," says a source from the production unit. Richa confirms the news, saying, "Yes, I have conjunctivitis. Maybe I caught it at a recent magazine party that I attended. I couldn't shoot for a few days and can't work right now."
The actor is resting at home and says that it will take some time before she can resume shooting. "It's already been a week now and I need to rest for at least another three to four days before I get back on the sets."
The makers wouldn't have been in such a fix if the sets had been in a Mumbai studio. But the shoot was happening in Delhi, and they are trying to make the most of their time by finishing off as much of the shoot that doesn't require her. The Gangs Of Wasseypur star plays the second female lead in the film in which Deepika Padukone has been paired with Ranveer Singh for the first time. Her eye infection has not only disturbed the schedule of Ram Leela, but also her other project, Tamanche, in which she is paired with Nikhil Dwivedi.
