Mumbai, Sept. 24 -- Tinsel town is abuzz with reports of actors Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma's break-up. However, Singh reveals that he never dated his Band Baaja Baaraat costar in the first place.
"Anushka and I were never dating, so there is no question of a break-up. We are friends, but since we are not doing any movies together we don't get to spend as much time together as we used to," he says.
The actor, who is raking in big moolah since his dream debut in Bollywood last year, says he is the worst money manager, "I have one simple rule for all my pay cheques -to hand them over to my parents. I just ask them for pocket money and I'm lucky that they've never refused me for anything," he claims.
So, how does he spend his money? "I'm not a big spender, but I want to buy sports cars, bikes and a house for my parents. I hope, inshallah, it comes true," says Singh, who feels that acting comes naturally to him. "I find a compelling urge to react every time I'm in front of a crowd. It's hard for me to keep a straight face," say Singh, who recently walked the runway for designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna.
How was the experience? "The toughest part is to keeping my adrenaline rush in check and walking straight without gesturing or reacting to the crowd," he says. Singh might have enacted the role of a simple guy in his first film, but he says, "I'm very style savvy and love to shop. I'm also a shoe freak and my closet can give any girl's shoe collection good competition."
