They were a couple who parted ways but mended their relationship and reunited as friends. No one knows what happened between them but actor Deepika Padukone candidly admits her ex-beau, actor Ranbir Kapoor has always been very ‘special’.
The two have reunited in reel life after five years and, their second film together, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (YJHD), is reaping gold at the box office. The audiences are loving their on-screen chemistry. “I have always believed that chemistry can’t be created between two people. You either have it or you don’t. The script can only enhance it. I’m glad that Ranbir and I have it,” said Deepika, who was earlier did Bachna Ae Haseeno, with Ranbir in 2008.
“He has been a very special person for me in my life. I’m glad that we share an on- screen chemistry. I’m looking forward to doing more films with him,” says Deepika, 27.
Among the newcomers, Deepika is one of the top notch actors in Bollywood but she believes in competing with herself. “For me, competition is good; that is what keeps me on my toes and keeps me going. I am always trying to better my own work, do better movies and improve in my acting,” she says.
