Mumbai, May 29 -- Mallika Sherawat will soon make her debut on television with the Indian adaptation of the hit American show, The Bachelorette. As part of the show - called The Bachelorette India: Mere Khayalon ki Mallika - the actor will be on the lookout for an "intelligent and successful man" who she will subsequently go on a date with.
And supporting her decision to participate in this search for romance is none other than Rakhi Sawant.
The controversy queen, who has earlier featured in a show - Swayamvar - that seemed inspired by The Bachelorette, says she is glad Mallika took up the series.
"I am very happy for her. Everyone has the right to look for their Mr Right. Some choose to do so on a TV show, some find their Mr Right on their own, or in a cafe or on a matrimonial website or through relatives (sic)," says Rakhi, adding, "Doing a show like Swayamvar isn't bad. Mallika is doing it in her own way and I support her."
Meanwhile, Rakhi is busy working towards setting up her own production house. "I'll make an announcement soon. The production house will work on films and TV shows. I have a staff of 100 with me and a recording studio in place," says Rakhi
