Remember 'Muqabla hoga' from Humse Hai Muqbala (1994)? A young Prabhudheva gyrated to cool moves in the hit song. Though the movie starring Nagma was merely dubbed in Hindi, the song was immensely popular and Prabhudheva's dancing style became a huge rage. Now the choreographer-actor, who later turned director, will perform the same steps for a promotional video of his upcoming film, ABCD - Any Body Can Dance.
The makers, UTV Motion Pictures and director Remo D'Souza decided to incorporate the song in their film on dance as it had given Prabhudheva his identity in Bollywood.
They have even bought the rights from Tips and Venus, who share the rights to the film and the song.
A source reveals, "Prabhu will shoot a promotional video with new steps and famous moves from the original. He will dance to the song in the film as well."
Remo says, "It is an iconic song and Prabhudheva's dance made it what it became a rage. We have got the rights and are using it for the promotions of ABCD. It will be the first song to come out. Watch out for it."
