Ritu Kumar's designer son turns musician

New Delhi, June 13 (IANS) Well-known designer Ritu Kumar's younger son Amrish forays into music with his album called "Mummy Daddy Records". It reflects the Indian youth, he says.

"I have been working on this album for more than two years. I have also written a song for the album called 'Zindagi'," Amrish told IANS.

Amrish said his album cannot be classified into any particular genre and that it targets the youth. "It is like the reflection of young India, it is not niche and cannot be put into any particular genre," he said.

The album, released Wednesday, includes songs by budding artists like Papon from a rock band East India Company and also from bands like Rasiya and Jalebi Cartel. Other bands Midival Punditz and Parikrama have contributed too.
