Mumbai, Oct. 30 -- Aamir Khan seems to share a great rapport with his P.K. director, Rajkumar Hirani. The duo is working together again after 3 Idiots (2009), which remains the actor's biggest hit till date.
We've heard that on the sets of the film, Hirani graciously let Aamir conduct meetings for his other upcoming movie - Dhoom:3. The actor has reportedly been involved with all the creative aspects of the December release, and he's leaving no stone unturned while helping design its marketing strategies too.
"While they were shooting for P.K. in Delhi, Hirani was understanding enough to let Aamir meet the marketing and digital teams of Dhoom:3 while the shots were being prepared. Even during the Mumbai leg of the shoot, they paid him visits to keep him updated," says a source close to the actor. The meetings were scheduled in a way that they didn't interfere with the shoot of P.K.
Aamir's spokesperson confirms the news, saying, "He was constantly in touch with Aditya Chopra (producer) and even had a few meetings on the sets of P.K. to discuss things with the team."
As a result, Hirani is now excited to watch the film. The film-maker's spokesperson says, "While Aamir would discuss the nitty-gritty of Dhoom:3 with his team, Raju has become eager to watch the film. He is also excited about the film releasing in a new format."
BIG B APPROVES
Before its release, producer Aditya Chopra invited Amitabh Bachchan to see the Dhoom:3 trailer at his studio. Evidently impressed, the veteran actor took to micro-blogging website Twitter to express his views. He posted: 'And ... Adi Chopra calls me to his preview theatre to view the first trailer of 'DHOOM 3' .. astounding !! Such finesse !!' (sic).
