New Delhi, Oct. 20 -- Actor Richa Chadda, known for her bold and brash roles in films such as Gangs of Wasseypur and Fukrey, will now have audiences witness her softer side as she steps into Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Ram-Leela world.
Essaying the character of Rasila, Richa stepped into the shoes of a traditional Gujarati girl, spending a significant amount of time learning the language. "Rasila is a combination of sugar and spice ... with that she is beautiful and sensual. She is traditional and binds the family together," says Richa, 24.
All praise for her director, the actor adds: "I took on the part without having even read the script. It is any actor's dream to work with Bhansali and I'm lucky to have the opportunity to learn from him."
