Hrithik Roshan, who will soon be seen in his father Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 3, seems to be a little superstitious.
Apparently, the actor considers his grandfather — veteran filmmaker J Om Prakash, to be his lucky charm. A source close to the actor reveals, “Since Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000), Hrithik has considered his grandfather to be extremely lucky for him. At that time, his grandfather had given the first clap (calling the first shot) of the film. The movie then went on to become a huge success. Ever since then, Hrithik has been extremely superstitious about this.”
The source goes on to add that, at that time, Hrithik decided that whenever he would work with his home banner, the first clap of the movie will be given by his grandfather. “And that tradition has been going on ever since. Even though the first shot of Krrish 3 was with Vivek (Oberoi, actor) and not Hrithik, he still insisted that his grandfather come on the sets,” adds the insider.
Krissh 3 releases in November. “Hrithik hopes that it will be well accepted by the audience. A lot of effort has gone into making this film and he wishes for the best,” adds the source.
