Mumbai, July 22 -- The makers of Grand Masti, the sequel to the 2004 film, Masti, are now teaming up with a publishing house for a one-of-a-kind partnership to feature the characters of its franchise in a book. This is the first time that the international publishing house has licensed the character rights of a Hindi feature film.
A source close to the film reveals, "This content partnership weaves a story around the characters of the film. The movie is lighthearted and will take adult-comedy many notches higher than the original."
Commenting on the tie-up, producer Ashok Thakeria says, "We are humbled and privileged that the international publishing house behind Mills & Boon has chosen Grand Masti to enter the Bollywood arena by licensing the character rights of a film for the first time. The tie-up between them and the movie is a boon to the series as well as to the readers of the book
