Actor Shruti Haasan feels "lucky and blessed" as two of her films - spy thriller D-Day and love story Ramaiya Vastavaiya - are releasing together this Friday. Her roles in both the films are as different as chalk and cheese.
While D-Day will see her as a sex worker caught in a web of bad things, in Ramaiya Vastavaiya she is presented as a sweet and loving girl.
"It's an actor's dream to do as many different roles in one's career. It's a good thing for us. And when both of my films are releasing on the same day, I feel very lucky and blessed," the actor said at the special screening of Nikhil
D-Day has an ensemble cast, featuring Irrfan, Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor and Huma Qureshi. On the other hand, Prabhudheva has directed Ramaiya Vastavaiya, also the debut of Girish Taurani.
