Mumbai, July 11 -- Looks like Priyanka Chopra is set to add some desi magic to her upcoming single, 'Exotic', alongside international sensation Pitbull. We've been informed that the actor has added a Hindi verse to the song and has even choreographed bits of the music video.
A source close to Priyanka reveals, "She has written the lyrics of the Hindi verse herself and has even co-choreographed the song with Richie (singer Lady Gaga's choreographer)."
Ask the actor as to why she wanted to add Hindi lyrics to her second international single, and Priyanka says, "I was very clear from the beginning that I wanted to have some aspect of my Indian identity in most of my songs. After Pitbull had recorded his parts of the song, I suggested to RedOne, who has produced 'Exotic', to consider adding some Hindi lyrics. He was very receptive to the idea and I quickly wrote the lyrics and recorded it. Everyone loved it and we just went with it."
Priyanka adds that introducing some desi steps in the song have also made the video look different. She says, "I think it adds a whole new dimension to the song. I've also added some Indian-inspired thumkas (dance moves) into the choreography and some cool elements into the styling. I truly believe that the world is ready for some desi masala."
The actor, apparently, will be seen wearing a chain in the video, which will be typically Indian.
