BMC officials visit Shah Rukh’s home, meet doctor

Health officials from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation visited actor Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Bandra on Monday to investigate a complaint filed by social activists based on media reports that the actor and his wife Gauri are having a boy through surrogacy, indicating illegal sex determination could have been done.

BMC health officials visited Khan's bungalow and a south Mumbai hospital to probe if sex determination had taken place.

A team of three senior doctors visited Khan’s residence. "The actor is not in the city. Our team spoke to his manager, who said the actor has not spoken to anyone in the media about surrogacy," said Dr Arun Bamne, executive health officer, BMC.
