Mumbai, June 3 -- Looks like director Abhishek Kapoor, who is still riding high on the success of his last release, Kai Po Che, is now giving his all into developing the script for his next.
The yetuntitled movie, which will star Sushant Singh Rajput, is slated to go on the floors this year, and the director has already begun his research.
A source close to Abhishek reveals, "He's currently in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, and is set to head to Kashmir for a period of 15 days. He plans to do a recce there and finish writing his script. There are some modifications that plans on introducing. The shooting for the movie will begin shortly, as soon as Sushant finishes with Rajkumar Hirani's P.K."
The film, we're told, is inspired by a novel. The source says, "It is based on Charles Dickens's Great Expectations. Abhishek is writing the story, so he is looking at remaking it in a manner that is more relevant to today's times. Sushant also liked the script a lot." As Abhishek is currently out of town, he remained unavailable for a comment.
