Mumbai, May 30 -- Filmmaker JP Dutta had pulled off quite a casting coup when he brought together the who's who of Bollywood in his war movie, Border (1997). Songs and dialogue from the film are popular even today.
So when news of a sequel came out, there was bound to be curiosity. Suniel Shetty, who played Captain Bhairav Singh in the film, was also excited about the second part, but now, it looks like he might be missing from it. "Border 2 is in pre-production right now, but I might not do it. I don't know if I fit the script, as my character dies in the first film," says Suniel.
Meanwhile, we've been informed that the makers plan to cast fresh faces for the second film, since most of the characters in the original film - except Sunny Deol and Jackie Shroff - died in the end. As per reports, model-turned-actor Muzammil Ibrahim has been roped in for one of the lead roles, while the rest of the casting is still in progress.
Suniel has been missing from the big screen for a while, but he has a couple of releases - Shooter and Enemmy - lined up this year. He is also set to work in Prabhudheva's upcoming film, where Ajay Devgn plays the lead. "I was looking forward to producing films, but then I scrapped the plan and started concentrating on my businesses. Now that I am sorted on that front, I'm looking at doing some good films," says the actor.
Rubbishing reports of going bald for his role in Prabhudheva's film, he says, "I am playing a villain after a long time, but I'm yet to discuss my look."
