A day after the producer of Hindi film 'Shootout at Wadala', Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, apologised to Bhartiya Valmiki Dharm Samaaj for a dialogue that the outfit had taken serious objection to, it was the turn of director Sanjay Gupta to render a written apology.
A letter from Sanjay Gupta stated that, "We have complied with requisition as discussed with you in UFO and prints, and scrabble will be complied by next one hour and apologise for the inconvenience caused to the community. We had no intentions to hurt sentiments of any community, caste or religion and regret if film has hurt sentiments of any community, caste or religion."
