Mumbai, April 29 – A new film has been added to the list of the many yesteryear movies that are currently being remade in Bollywood. Producer Vishwaas Paandya of White Stripes Entertainment has now bought the rights to remake the Dharmendra-Amitabh Bachchan starrer, Chupke Chupke (1975). However, the producer says that he doesn't "want to call the film a remake". "I am making an adapted version. It's a recreation, not a direct remake in the true sense," he explains.
He adds, "We bought the rights five years ago and have been working on it since then. The script is being written by SajidFarhad. They have completely adapted it into a new screenplay; like how Bol Bachchan (2012) was an adapted version of Gol Maal (1979). My film won't be similar to Chupke Chupke in terms of each frame."
