New Delhi, April 14 -- Choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan has been making actors dance to her tunes for over 20 years now. Now, after almost a decade, she will choreograph one of film industry's best known dancers - Madhuri Dixit - for a special number in Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Farah and Madhuri last worked in Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam (2002).
"We have only done romantic numbers in the past. So, there was never too much dancing involved. Madhuri and I are coming together after a long gap (11 years) and it will be the first time I'll make her dance properly. Both of us are thrilled about it," says Farah, who will also direct Ranbir Kapoor for the first time in this special number that is yet to be shot.
"Ranbir and I have always wanted to work together and now we've finally got a chance. He's a very good dancer, so I'm sure this song will be fun," she says. However, the choreographer is yet to begin work on the song. Talking about the track, Farah says, "From what I've been told, it will be an out-and-out dance number, composed by Pritam."
he film will also mark the reunion of former-couple Ranbir and Deepika Padukone. The movie, which also features Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin, will release on May 31.
