Karan Johar’s house now on celluloid

By HT

Filmmaker Karan Johar likes to keep his pad at Carter Road in Mumbai private and has never done any shoot or even a meeting there.

But now, for the first time, he has broken his own rule. He has shot at his place the upcoming short film for Bombay Talkies.

“The audience would be able to see Karan’s residence on celluloid. His entire short story has been shot there. The film was shot for 9 days,” says the spokesperson of the film. The movie will feature actor Rani Mukerji opposite actor Randeep Hooda for the first time. Bombay Talkies marks the celebration of 100 years of cinema, which will feature four short films. Other directors on this project are Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap.
