Mumbai, March 29 -- He is a self-confessed fan of Anurag Kashyap's films. And now, as Anil Kapoor's son Harshvardhan gets ready to assist the filmmaker on Bombay Velvet, the latter reveals that Harsh has been in touch with him for several years now.
"Yes, I have known Harsh for the last seven-eight years. He has always watched all my movies and given me his opinion. He is very talented," says Anurag. At the same time, there are talks that the 22-year-old will be launched in Udaan (2010) director Vikramaditya Motwane's next (after Lootera), produced by Anurag-led Phantom.
Harshvardhan's debut will be a quirky superhero film revolving around a Gujarati superhero named Bhabesh. "Whenever I plan a film, I definitely think of him to gauge whether he fits into the script.
But nothing of that sort (launch) is decided as yet. Right now, I am only focusing on my next twothree films starting with Bombay Velvet on which Harsh is going to assist me. I can only plan and think about those many films. So it's too early to talk about such a thing (launching him in a full-fledged film)," says Anurag.
Some time back, reports were rife that Harsh would appear in a short film opposite Isabele Kaif, Katrina Kaif's sister, but interestingly there has been no further talk of this project. Apparently, Harsh is only thinking about starting work on Bombay Velvet - starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma - even as the film is slated to go on the floors in a few months' time.
