MUMBAI, Feb. 19 -- Comedy king David Dhawan is set to make a comeback with a remake of the 1981 cult classic, Chashme Buddoor. And for the film's music launch this evening, the makers are recreating the ambience of Goa in a city mall, as most of the film was shot in the state.
A source close to the film says, "The suburban multiplex where the launch will happen will witness a transformation. It will temporarily be converted into the Joseph Cafe which would look similar to the one in Goa where the film was shot." The event will also feature a dance performance by choreographer Ganesh Acharya with his troupe.
Talking about the music launch, Dhawan says, "Since the film is set in Goa, we thought why not set a similar theme for the launch. I don't think anyone has done a music launch like this where the audiences get to be a part of the show."
Chashme Buddoor stars actors Ali Zafar, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma and southern star Tapasee Pannu who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the film.
