Sudhir Mishra's latest film Inkaar featuring Arjun Rampal and Chitrangda Singh opened to mixed reviews from the critics and audience alike. However, Sudhir is already busy making his next titled Kirchiyaan.
The film which will be the first release of Royal Stag Mega Movies Large Short Films is a 13 min short film with all the trappings of a feature film.
Featuring 2 songs, violence, drama, emotions, revenge, sex, corrupt cops, bribing politicians, warring friends, old flames and drugs, the film is everything Bollywood pot boilers are made of. As its hallmark Kirchiyaan features Sudhir Mishra with Chitrangada Singh, Sushant Singh, Vipin Sharma and Manu Rishi.
Sudhir says, "It hasn't been easy to make this film. On the contrary it was more difficult to make this short film than most full-length feature films. Because there is no luxury of time, locations, budgets, etc. The story has to be gripping enough, every second. It took more than 8 ideas and 9 drafts to arrive at the final screenplay. It's been quite a journey."
While the dialogues for the film have been written by Manu Rishi, the lyrics of Kirchiyaan have been penned by Sameer Anjaan, the film will be released online at 4pm on 31st January 2013.
