Chashme Buddoor’s release has been postponed again.
The film, a remake of the hit 1981 film by the same name, was earlier supposed to hit theatres in December 2012. However, for reasons unknown, the date was pushed to February 22 this year. And now, the release date has once again been postponed to April 13.
The reason, an industry insider tells us, is that the makers want to avoid a clash with UTV Motion Pictures’ Kai Po Che. The insider says, “After the trailer of Kai Po Che was unveiled, there was huge buzz around the film’s three actors. It received good reviews and the expectations are high.”
So the makers of Chashme Buddoor didn’t want to “risk it” and decided to pull out.
