Friendships go a long way in Bollywood. And it helps when your friend is a married actor, so no one stirs up rumours of a romantic linkup. Such seems to be the case of Anushka Sharma and Imran Khan, who apparently became good friends while working in Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola (MKBKM).
Of course, to Anushka's advantage, her next film happens to be with Imran's uncle Aamir (Rajkumar Hirani's film, P.K.). So she's getting Imran to give her insights into Aamir's personality and working style. A source from the sets of MKBKM informs us that in between shoots, Anushka would inquire about Aamir's likes and dislikes.
"After Anushka bagged P.K., she would ask Imran about Aamir. Considering that Aamir is a perfectionist, she wanted to know about him and his working method," the source says.
Clearly, Anushka seems excited about the prospect of working with Aamir, and this seems to be a part of her preliminary homework. Of course, right from the beginning, the two seemed to get along like a house on fire: "During the shoot, they spent lots of time together - chatting at length, about gadgets and cars, the industry and their upcoming projects," the source adds.
Imran too is all praise for his co-star. He says, "Anushka is an extremely straightforward person. She was easy to work with, and easy to make friends with."
