So even as Arjun Kapoor wraps up Yash Raj Films’ Aurangzeb, and is confirmed to do Ali Abbas Zafar’s Gunday and Karan Johar-Sajid Nadiadwala’s 2 States, we hear that if all goes well, the young star could be sharing screen space with uncle Anil Kapoor in Welcome 2. The film is a sequel to the 2007 hit comedy.
Although director Anees Bazmee is currently busy with No Entry Mein Entry (the sequel to No Entry, his 2005 hit), sources confirm that Welcome 2 is planned. And what’s most interesting is that both Arjun and Anil are at the “discussion stage” with producer Firoz Nadiadwala.
