The first look and trailer of Dabangg 2 released last week and became a trending topic on social networks very quickly. And while the film seems to be nearing its final stages of completion, a source from the sets of the movie revealed that apparently, actor Salman Khan who reprises the role of
Chulbul Pandey, has been a little upset of late.
Ask him about what the reason could be and the source says, “Salman really misses the presence of the Dimple Kapadia and Mahesh Manjrekar on the sets of the film, as well as in the movie. He is really fond of the two actors and had a gala time shooting with them during Dabangg (2010).”
In the first installment of this hit franchise, Dimple, who played Salman’s mother (Naini Devi) was murdered, whereas Mahesh Majrekar, who played Sonakshi Sinha’s father (Haria) committed suicide.
The source adds, “Both the characters were an integral part of the film and since their parts ended Salman sorely missed their company while shooting the sequel. He really wished that somehow, the two could’ve been part of the film. He has known them for a long time and they would often joke around on the sets.”
