MUMBAI, Oct. 22 -- Aamir Khan's Talaash may well be one of the last films to show us certain parts of Mumbai.
The film has been shot in real locations like chawls and mills across the city, and not on sets. The makers shortlisted about 520 locations initially, after which they shot at 47 of them. A source close to the film reveals, "Talaash was shot in old buildings - chawls, mills, etc. All those locations have now gone under redevelopment (post the shoot)."
The movie, we're told, has been shot in places that the most people haven't seen in the recent past, including small lanes in Charni Road, Lower Parel, Colaba, Grant Road and Central Mumbai.
