Two years ago, director Anurag Kashyap made sharp comments against the Bachchans when the Abhishek-starrer Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey released. But things seem to have calmed down since. A few days ago, Amitabh Bachchan — to everyone’s surprise — even praised Anurag’s Gangs Of Wasseypur (GOW). And now, we can confirm that Big B and Anurag have teamed up for a docu-film to mark 100 years of Indian cinema.
Anurag and three other directors (Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Dibakar Banerjee) are each making a 20-minute documentary on various aspects of the industry. Anurag’s subject deals with the impact of Amitabh Bachchan’s films on the Indian audience.
