Prabhu Deva to direct musical love story with Taurani's son

By Hindustan Times

After making two action-packed 'masala' films, choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva is gearing up to make a musical love story.

Making his debut in Bollywood as a director with Salman Khan-starrer Wanted, Prabhu Deva's second film, Akshay Kumar-starrer Rowdy Rathore was released recently. Both of them were action films and did a good business at the box office.

Now, his third venture will be a musical love story, produced by Tips. "We have Prabhu Deva on board. He would be directing a film for us (Tips). It will be a musical love story," producer Kumar Taurani told PTI.

When asked if this film will be a remake, Taurani said, "I can't say much right now about the project." Taurani's son Girish Kumar will be making his debut as an actor in the yet-to-be named film. "My son will be acting in this film and I will be producing it. We would hopefully start shooting from August," Taurani said without divulging further details.
