Filming a movie based on a book can be tough deal. That’s what the team working on director Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che! realised while hunting for the perfect location to shoot a sequence for the film which is adapted from Chetan Bhagat’s novel, The 3 Mistakes of My Life.
“We wanted to match the location to the one described in Chetan’s book. After a long hunt, we came across the Hatkeshwar Mahadev temple, which is around two hours away from the city,” says Manish Hariprasad, UTV creative head on Kai Po Che!
Upon reaching the location, Hariprasad reveals that the unit was thrilled to discover some interesting trivia about the place.
