Saif Ali Khan, who has shot parts of all his productions — Love Aaj Kal, Agent Vinod and Cocktail — in the Capital, says the city has a special place in his heart.

“Delhi is dear to me, and I love shooting here. There are so many good ol’ memories... I spent my childhood here, my parents used to live here. And, it played a major role in all my three productions,” says the 41-year-old actor-producer, who is currently shooting Cocktail in Delhi.

Alongside, he is also busy promoting Agent Vinod, co-starring his girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor. The film was initially scheduled to open last year, but Saif pushed the release to March 23 this year to avoid clashes with other big ticket thrillers: Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 2 and Tom Cruise-starrer Mission Impossible 4.

His film may have escaped competition from SRK’s, but Agent Vinod’s graphic novel is being pitted against the Don 2 comic book. Saif, however, says it’s only a ‘marketing strategy.’ “We really like Shah Rukh’s Don 2. It’s a very nice movie. We really like his acting as well. My son is a huge fan of the movie and has the Don 2 theme as his ringtone. So, there’s no competition.”
